Au départ de Kodiak, en avril dernier, un nouveau Mangonaute, Robert, fana entre autre de pêche, eut l’idée géniale (car il n’y a pas d’autres mots !) d’écrire un journal de bord sous la forme d’un roman policier, plus précisemment d’un Alaskan Thriller !
Il y a quelques jours, il a eu la gentillesse de me donner un exemplaire relié de ce document inédit, et mieux encore de donner son accord pour sa publication en ligne ! Je vous laisse découvrir cet authentique journal de bord (car tous les faits rapportés sont excats) à la mode Robert !

A nice gift, by Sailor-Phil
Setting sail from Kodiak, last April, a new Mangonaut, Robert, a fishing fan, among other activities, had the genial idea (because that’s the word that fits best!) to write the logbook in the shape of a mystery novel, or one could also call an Alaskan Thriller!
A few days ago, he was kind enough to give me a copy of this unpublished, and, even better, his approval for making it available online! This authentic log (because all the facts reported are strictly true) « à la Robert », is of course in French.

That could be really nice to have somebody translating Robert’s novel into English (unfortunately, I won’t be able). In the mean time, I can suggest our English readers to seize this opportunity to work out their French skills (Google Translate has become pretty efficient I can say), and see how some of those southern cheese-eaters viewed your Alaskan seas and fishes (needless to say, with hungry eyes).
